TGPRB has issued the detailed recruitment notifications on 29 July 2026 for a total of 7,437 vacancies across the Police, Fire & Emergency, Prisons and Special Protection Force departments, following the press note dated 5 July 2026 (Rc. No. 189/Rect./Rect-1/2026) in which the State Government accorded permission to fill these posts.
Online application dates are not yet announced. The board has stated that the exact dates for submission of online application forms will be intimated in due course through a separate press release at tgprb.in. Candidates should read the full eligibility conditions in the notification for their post before applying.
The notifications group the posts as “Civil and/or Equivalent”, so the PC notification covers AR, SAR CPL, Fire Fighter, Warder and SPF constable posts as well. The department-wise split is below.

A total of 7,437 vacancies are being filled across the Police, Fire & Emergency, Prisons and Special Protection Force departments, including 3,697 Police Constable (Civil) and 1,052 Police Constable (AR) posts. The notifications group them as 7,112 PC (Civil and/or Equivalent), 275 SI (Civil and/or Equivalent), 27 PC (Driver/Mechanic) and 23 ASI (FPB).
