IBPS Probationary Officer / Management Trainee

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officers / Management Trainees in participating public sector banks. It is an officer-level exam with a Preliminary exam, a Main exam, a Personality Test and an Interview.

  • Selection: Preliminary Examination → Main Examination → Personality Test → Interview
  • Prelims: 100 questions, 100 marks, 1 hour – English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability
  • Mains: 170 objective questions, 200 marks, 160 minutes, plus a descriptive English test

IBPS Clerk (Customer Service Associate)

IBPS conducts the Common Recruitment Process for clerical cadre posts (Customer Service Associates) in participating public sector banks. Selection is through a Preliminary exam and a Main exam; there is no interview.

  • Selection: Preliminary Examination → Main Examination → Local Language Proficiency Test
  • Prelims: 100 questions, 100 marks, 1 hour – English Language, Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability
  • Mains: 160 objective questions, 200 marks, 125 minutes
