The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released Brief Notification No.13/2026 dated 15 September 2026 for Direct Recruitment to the post of Supervisor Grade-I in A.P. Women Development and Child Welfare Sub-Ordinate Service (General Recruitment, Only for Women).

Online applications: 16 October 2026 to 5 November 2026, up to 11:59 PM, through the Commission's website (psc.ap.gov.in).

• Supervisor Grade-I, A.P. Women Development and Child Welfare Sub-Ordinate Service (Only for Women): 29 vacancies — Pay Scale Rs 37,640 – 1,15,500

Vacancies are provisional and subject to variation on confirmation from the concerned department. Age, community-wise breakup and other details will be published in the Detailed Notification, available on or before 16 October 2026 on the Commission's website — the date of the Detailed Notification is the crucial date for all eligibility purposes.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Home Science / B.S.W., a Degree in Sociology, or a B.Sc. in Food Science & Nutrition / Food & Nutrition / Applied Nutrition & Public Health / Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics / Food Sciences & Quality Control / Food Sciences & Management / Food Technology & Nutrition / Food Technology & Management (as per G.O.MS.No.14, WCD&SC Dept., dated 27 June 2013). Only candidates whose higher qualification is in Home Science, Social Work, Sociology or Food Science & Nutrition are eligible to apply for this post.

Selection Process: A single-level online (CBRT) examination — no separate Screening Test — followed by a Computer Proficiency Test for qualifying candidates.

• Paper I — General Studies & Mental Ability: 150 questions, 150 minutes, 150 marks
• Paper II — Common Paper (Home Science & Social Work): 150 questions, 150 minutes, 150 marks

Total: 300 marks. Negative marking: 1/3rd of the marks prescribed for the question, deducted for each wrong answer (G.O.Ms.No.235, Finance Dept.).
