APPSC Group-II Services 2026 Recruitment – Notification No.37/2026

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released Brief Notification No.37/2026 dated 13 October 2026 for direct recruitment to Group-II Services (General/Limited Recruitment) — 686 provisional vacancies, subject to variation.

• Posts: Municipal Commissioner Grade-III (6), Sub-Registrar Grade-II (7), Deputy Tahsildar (200), Goods and Service Tax Officer, erstwhile ACTO (40), Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies (10), Deputy Mandal Parishad Development Officer (176), Prohibition & Excise Sub-Inspector (29), Assistant Section Officer – GAD (71), Assistant Section Officer – Finance (5), Assistant Section Officer – Law (4), Senior Accountant (90), Junior Accountant (48)
• Qualification: a Bachelor's degree for posts 01–08 (Sub-Registrar: preference to Law graduates); ASO (Finance): degree in Mathematics, Economics or Commerce; ASO (Law): degree in Law; Senior and Junior Accountant: degree in Commerce, Economics or Mathematics (any degree is also accepted) plus one of the computer qualifications listed in the notification. Prohibition & Excise SI has physical requirements, given in the Detailed Notification.
• Selection: Screening Test (offline, objective, OMR) followed by a Main Examination of two objective papers — Screening Test date to be announced in the Detailed Notification
