India Post has released the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) 2026 notification for 23,757 vacancies of Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak across postal circles. Selection is on Class 10 merit — there is no written examination.

  • One-Time Registration (OTR): 31 August to 19 September 2026
  • Last date to apply online: 21 September 2026 (5 PM)
  • Application correction window: 23–24 September 2026
  • Fee: ₹100 for General/OBC/EWS candidates; SC, ST, PwD and women candidates are exempted
