NTPC Assistant Officer – Corporate Communication | Advt. No. 12/26 – 15 Vacancies

NTPC Limited has advertised 15 posts of Assistant Officer (Corporate Communication) under Advt. No. 12/26, for posting at its projects and stations.

• Apply online: 21 September 2026 to 5 October 2026
• Vacancies: 15 (UR 8, EWS 1, OBC 3, SC 2, ST 1); PwBD reservation as per Government guidelines. NTPC may change the number of posts.
• Qualification: a full-time Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks, and a full-time two-year PG degree or PG diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism, Advertising & Communication, Public Relations (or a combination) with at least 60% marks. SC/ST/PwBD candidates need 55% where a vacancy is identified for their category.
• Upper age limit: 29 years, counted on the last date of application. Where a vacancy is identified for the category, relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PwBD; ex-servicemen as per Government guidelines.
• Grade / pay scale: E0 / IDA, Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000
• Selection: NTPC may use a multi-stage process — application screening, a written/computer-based test and a personal interview. When both a test and an interview are held, the test carries 85% weightage and the interview 15%; the online test has a Subject Knowledge Test and an Executive Aptitude Test, each to be cleared separately. A medical examination by NTPC is required before joining.
• Application fee: Rs. 500 for General/EWS/OBC candidates (online, or at SBI through the portal's pay-in slip). No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/ex-servicemen and female candidates. Fees are not refunded.
• Nationality: Indian nationals only.
