MoSPI signs MoUs with IDEAS and ISI Kolkata for data-driven research

On 10 August 2026 the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation signed two MoUs, with the Institute of Data Engineering, Analytics and Science Foundation (IDEAS) and the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. The tie-ups will develop GDP nowcasting tools and harmonised statistical indicator frameworks.
