PLFS: Labour force participation rate rises to 55.6% in August 2026

The monthly Periodic Labour Force Survey released by the National Statistics Office on 15 September 2026 showed the labour force participation rate (15+ years) rising to 55.6% in August 2026 from 55.4% in July, while the unemployment rate stayed at 5.0%.
