Amit Shah flags off India's first LNG-powered train from Sabarmati

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah flagged off India's first LNG-powered train from Sabarmati railway station in Ahmedabad on 27 September 2026. Its power cars run on a diesel-plus-LNG dual-fuel system.
